Message from the Head
Welcome to The Girls' Middle School web site.
As a stand-alone middle school for girls, GMS educates girls during a pivotal time in their lives. The Girls' Middle School was founded to celebrate these years. At a time when many girls lose their academic voice, here there are only girls' voices.
Our curriculum encourages creativity, problem solving, and independent thought through project-based learning. At GMS, girls study math, science, and the humanities. They also experience engineering, entrepreneurial studies, and social and emotional learning.
GMS graduates eighth graders full of energy, optimism, opinions, and courage. We know that they carry their GMS experience proudly as they head off to high school.
