About us

From the Head

As a stand-alone middle school for girls, GMS educates girls during a pivotal time in their lives. At a time when many girls lose their academic voice, here there are only girls' voices. The Girls' Middle School was founded to celebrate these years.

Our curriculum encourages creativity, problem solving, and independent thought through project-based learning. At GMS, girls study math, science, and the humanities. They also experience engineering, entrepreneurial studies, and social and emotional learning.

GMS graduates 8th graders full of energy, optimism, opinions, and courage. We know that they carry their GMS experience proudly as they head off to high school.

Welcome to The Girls' Middle School website.
