William Akey

Technical Support Specialist

William received a B.Sc. (Agr.) in Plant Protection from the University of Guelph, a M.Sc. in Plant Science from the University of Manitoba and a Ph.D. in Plant Ecology/Agronomy from Iowa State University. He studied towards a M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Wyoming.

In addition to prior experience as a webmaster and tech support specialist, William most recently worked as a database designer.

William joined the staff of GMS in 2007.
