Maria Arons

Maria was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. She received a B.A. in Spanish Studies and History from Santa Clara University. She received a Masters Degree in Spanish and Portuguese Literature from Stanford University.

Prior to GMS, Maria worked as a Spanish tutor with students from Castilleja, Sacred Heart Prep, Menlo, Corte Madera, and with AP Spanish classes at Palo Alto High School. Maria has also taught Spanish Literature courses at Stanford University's Upward Bound program. She worked as an interpreter for the East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutorial program, the Santa Clara Law Services, and the Stanford University Hospital's language bank.

Maria joined the faculty of GMS in 2005.
