Michelle Hutton

8th grade Computer Science

Michelle graduated from Indiana University with Bachelors degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry Education and a Masters in Information Science. She holds an Indiana teaching credential in chemistry and general science and a California single subject teaching credential in Chemistry.

Prior to GMS, Michelle worked as a system administrator for Indiana University. Michelle originally joined GMS as the system administrator before shifting to teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade computer science for five years.

In addition to her work at GMS, Michelle is active as the board vice president and equity committee chair for the Computer Science Teachers Association. She is also an active member of the National Center for Women and Information Technology K-12 Alliance.

Michelle joined the GMS staff in 2000.
