Peter Koehler

Assistant Head of School

Peter is an experienced administrator and educator with over 16 years of independent school experience. He is enthusiastic about and committed to GMS's vision, focused on educating, inspiring, and supporting middle school girls. Peter oversees the curriculum and after school programs at GMS.

Peter received his B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA. in Anglo-American literature from King's College, University of London, and an Ed.M. in Education Leadership with a concentration in private school leadership from Columbia University Teachers' College.

Prior to GMS, Peter served as Class Dean and Teacher at Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood.

Peter joined the staff of GMS in 2006.
