Course Content

I'm here to provide your daughter with best possible physical education experience possible. Over the year we will cover numerous sports and games. We have a great array of equipment ranging from lacrosse and skateboarding gear to basketball and volleyball courts. I promote a safe learning environment where the girls get exercise and develop motor skills through sports.

Matt Cole

B.A. Psychology San Francisco State University

Matt has been involved in sports his entire life. As a youth he played over five years of baseball and soccer, plus one year of football. By middle school, he became a dedicated surfer and continued with it until skateboarding took over in his senior year of high school. Matt eventually became a sponsored skateboarder through the 90's. From 1990 to 1993 he ran his own skateboarding program at A Team Day Care. In 1996, he founded his own skateboard truck business, Elevate Industries LLC, which he ran until 2002. For the past few years, he has been teaching surfing throughout the bay area. Last year he taught with "Rhythm and Moves," a contracted PE program. He taught 700 students at three different schools. This experience prepared him well to teach the outstanding 127 athletes at GMS.
