The deadline for applications for the 2008-2009 school year is January 10, 2008.

Admissions Open Houses are Sat. Nov. 10 at 1pm and Thurs. Dec 13 at 7pm. Please RSVP and join us!

The sixth grade class for Fall 2007 has spaces for 48 girls. We may have a few spaces available in seventh and eighth grade.

Shadow visits are held on Tuesday mornings during the fall and winter.

Admissions at The Girls' Middle School

Our approach to admissions at The Girls' Middle School is as personal and thoughtful as our educational philosophy. We evaluate both quantitative measures such as grade transcripts and ISEE scores and more qualitative and individualized information such as recommendations, parent questionnaires and interviews. Our goal throughout the process is to answer two broad questions:

• Does this family understand and embrace our core school values and educational philosophy?
• Does this applicant have the basic academic and work skills to be successful as well as the desire to attend GMS?
