GMS will host its Annual Scholarship Breakfast on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. This year's event will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto, and features a keynote address by Diane Greene.

Diane is one of the best known and most widely respected executives and entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. In 1998, the same year that The Girls’ Middle School was founded, she envisioned the world of virtualization and cloud computing that we live in today. As co-founder and CEO of the pioneering software company VMWare, she both imagined and helped build a new model for the way we interact with computers. She has been called “one of the most successful women of all time in technology” by The Next Women Business Magazine, and featured by The Wall Street Journal and CNN as one of the 50 most powerful women in business.
 

Additionally, the program includes remarks from our distinguished alumna speaker, Shantya Martinez, a member of GMS's class of 2004 and a current senior at Santa Clara University.
