A key element of The Girls’ Middle School mission is to provide a place where girls from diverse socioeconomic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds can come together to develop the academic skills, self-knowledge, and personal strength to achieve their dreams, as well as the empathy and communication skills to support each other on their journeys toward womanhood.  We believe that closing the gaps in opportunity associated with financial status, race, and ethnicity significantly benefits everyone in our learning community.

It is our intent that when a girl leaves GMS, she leaves with a clear vision of her best adult self, of what she can become with the boundless talents, intelligence, creativity, and ingenuity she carries within.
