Our Forever Home

In June 2025, GMS purchased our new campus at 3950 Fabian Way, marking a transformational milestone for our school. With an anticipated move-in date of Fall 2027, we are moving full steam ahead toward a campus designed intentionally for the education, growth, and well-being of middle school girls.

New Building

More Than a Building

A building does not make a school.

For decades, GMS has fulfilled Kathleen Bennett's vision to nurture and empower a diverse community of middle school girls–despite the challenges of operating in a rented facility.

Owning our own campus offers significant advantages. Importantly, ownership will foster long-term financial sustainability of our school and allow us to align our physical space with our mission.

Designed for the GMS Mission

Our new campus will support how girls learn, grow, and thrive during their critical adolescent years. This means:

  • Windows, windows, windows – natural light throughout the entire building
  • More space to explore, experiment, and take risks
  • State-of-the-art classrooms, including for the industrial arts and robotics
  • Flexible indoor and outdoor spaces for play and community-building

Together, we will build the campus that our students deserve, that exemplifies the magic that happens in our classrooms every day, and that advances the school's mission to educate girls at a crucial time in life.

Connected to Community

Outside of the physical space, the location of our new campus offers opportunity for richer community engagement by forging new partnerships and deepening existing ones, beginning with neighboring institutions such as the Jewish Community Center (JCC) and The Kehillah School. It also strengthens GMS's position as a national thought leader in progressive middle school girls' education, enabling us to welcome educators and experts from across the country for collaboration and symposia.

Looking Ahead

Together, we are building the campus our students deserve and our teachers dream of. Construction will begin in March 2026, with scheduled completion in Spring 2027 and an expected move-in date of Fall 2027.
