The Girls’ Middle School strives to be an inclusive and welcoming community. An integral part of our mission is to develop a student body from diverse backgrounds, including families from all income levels.
To achieve this goal, we offer two types of tuition assistance: Financial Aid and The Bennett Scholars Program.
Financial aid is a need-based assistance program providing tuition assistance to families who need help covering a portion of the current GMS tuition.
The Bennett Scholars Program
The Bennett Scholars Program supports high-achieving girls who attend under-resourced elementary schools and often represent the first generation in their families to be college bound. In addition to tuition, we provide Bennett Scholars with laptops, lunches, uniforms, one-on-one tutoring, and the costs of all trips and material expenses. The program is funded through the generosity of our parents, alumnae, and members of the community.
Families must submit the following forms to the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) School and Student Services by February 8, 2019.
- Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS)
- Tax returns for the past and current year
- IRS form 4506
Further instructions for applying for financial aid will be mailed to all GMS applicants in January. FAQs about Financial Aid.
